Alexander Rubensteyn
biography
Born in 1947, he graduated in 1971 from Lomonosov University, and became a professor in 1994. He has taught in various different educational institutions, and is deputy director of the RAN Institute of Economics. This year, he was awarded a European prize for his ‘Contribution to Economics'. With R.S. Greenberg, he co-founded the concept ‘Economic socio-dynamism', about which more than 10 studies have been published, both in Russia and abroad. He is an active member of Association for Cultural Economics International and a member of the European Institute for Comparative Cultural Research. His academic interests include general economic theory, the economy of the social sector, sociology.
