Victor Kuvaldin

Born in Moscow in 1943, Victor is a doctor of history and professor at the MGIMO University in Moscow. He is one of the most renowned Russian political experts and has worked at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Science for many years. He has been the executive at the Gorbachev-foundation since its inception. Victor Kuvaldin was a speech-writer for Mikhail Gorbachev when Mr. Gorbachev was the President of the USSR. His professional interests include the problems of globalisation and intellectuals in the modern western society.
