At each of their concerts, the trio Gaivoronsky - Kondakov - Volkov astound audiences around the world with their vitality and unique renderings of classic melodies. Gaivoronsky formed a duet with the talented Volkov in 1979, which went on to perform at jazz festivals around the world. Kondakov, having left the mainstream of fusion and Bassanova for contemporary jazz, joined the duet to form a trio in 2000. The trio experiment with all kinds of musical genres and ways of producing novel sounds with their instruments. Last year, the trio's first album came out under Leo Records, ‘Christmas concert'.
